Our client is a global leader in the SaaS industry, providing software solutions for insurance companies. With over 20 years of experience, the company offers a comprehensive platform that supports key insurance processes — including policies, claims, reinsurance, and payments.
They are currently undergoing a major technological transformation, moving towards a Cloud Native, multi-tenant architecture to modernize their infrastructure and enhance scalability, performance, and flexibility. As part of this initiative, they are building a new competence center in Warsaw and expanding their team of experts working on Duck Creek solutions.
About the Role
We are looking for experienced professionals with strong backgrounds in Guidewire or similar insurance software who are ready to transition into Duck Creek implementation projects.
You will work on designing, developing, and configuring Duck Creek applications that meet complex business requirements for leading insurance and investment companies. This is an opportunity to join a pioneering transformation and grow into a Duck Creek specialist with full support and training provided by the client.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement Duck Creek applications (based on your experience in Guidewire or similar platforms)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business and technical requirements
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- Participate in system integration, testing, and deployment phases
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications
- Stay up to date with industry trends in insurance software and cloud technologies
Requirements
- Proven experience in Guidewire development and/or implementation (or similar enterprise insurance software)
- Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming principles
- Hands-on experience with PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter (Guidewire) — or equivalent modules in similar systems
- Experience with SQL and database management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Relevant certifications in Guidewire, Duck Creek, or related technologies are an asset
