Senior Project Manager (Change & Release Management, z/OS Mainframe)

About the Offer

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the team of our client from the banking industry. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.

You will own the change and release related activities in a programme delivering a number of technology changes in the z/OS mainframe area. Acting as the single point of contact for the programme, you will manage and coordinate both business and technical change activities.

Key Details:

• Rate: up to 128 PLN/h (B2B)

• Work Model: hybrid – 3 days per week from the office, full-time (40 h/week)

• Location: Warsaw, Łódź, Gdańsk or Gdynia

• Openings: 2

Responsibilities:

• Own the change and release management processes for the programme, in line with the bank's internal processes and guidelines

• Manage change for both business process and technical changes

• Act as the single point of contact for coordinating business and technical change activities

• Manage communication and alignment with business and technical stakeholders

• Coordinate and facilitate the changes delivered by the application development teams

• Coordinate information sharing and upskilling activities for the relevant users

Requirements:

• 5+ years of project / programme management experience in a large organisation

• Hands-on experience in change and release management

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Advanced English

• Nice to have: z/OS mainframe knowledge or experience

• Nice to have: experience in a highly regulated industry (e.g. banking)

• Nice to have: experience facilitating information sharing and upskilling activities
