Data Lineage Consultant

About the Offer

We are currently looking for a Data Lineage Consultant to join the team of our client from the banking industry. You will analyse databases and technical documentation, map how data flows between systems, and create and maintain data lineage documentation, including in the IBM IGC tool. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to clarify data flows and dependencies. For this role, Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party, which means you will sign the cooperation agreement directly with us.

Key Details:

• Rate: up to 110 PLN/h net (B2B)

• Work Model: hybrid, average 60% office presence, full-time (40 h/week)

• Location: Warsaw

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and analysing databases and existing technical documentation

• Understanding and mapping data flows between systems and databases

• Identifying data sources, transformations and destinations

• Creating and maintaining data lineage documentation

• Updating and managing data lineage information in the IBM IGC tool

• Working with technical and business stakeholders to clarify data flows and dependencies

• Supporting the project with data-related documentation and analysis

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of databases, data flows and data structures

• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with database / DW / BI testing

• Basic knowledge of Snowflake

• Ability to analyse and validate data and identify discrepancies

• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel

• Good communication, planning and organisational skills

• Basic project management experience

• Fluent English

• Willingness to provide a criminal record certificate

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of IBM IGC (Information Governance Catalog)
