Data Analyst / Data Lineage Consultant

About the role:

We are Optiveum, your trusted recruitment partner. We are currently looking for a Data Analyst / Data Lineage Consultant to join the team of one of our clients. By joining this project, Optiveum will be your contracting party, meaning you will sign a cooperation agreement directly with us.

Key Details:

• Rate: Up to 110 PLN / hour

• Work Model: Hybrid (average office presence of 60%)

• Location: Warsaw, Poland

• Working Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Your responsibilities:

• Review and analyze databases and existing technical documentation.

• Understand and map data flows between systems and databases.

• Identify data sources, transformations, and destinations.

• Create and maintain data lineage documentation.

• Update and manage data lineage information in the IBM IGC tool.

• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to clarify data flows and dependencies.

• Support the project with data-related documentation and analysis.

Must-have requirements:

• Fluent English (Biegły).

• Basic understanding of databases, data flows, and data structures.

• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

• Basic knowledge of Snowflake.

• Good knowledge of SQL and experience with database / Data Warehouse / BI testing.

• Ability to analyze and validate data, as well as identify discrepancies.

• Good communication, planning, and organizational skills.

• Basic project management experience.

Nice-to-have:

• Knowledge of IBM IGC.
