Senior Test Automation Engineer

Location: Hybrid (Warsaw, 2-3 days/week in the office)

Salary: Up to 125 PLN/h net + VAT (B2B)

About the role:

For our client in the banking industry, we are looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for E2E Test Automation for Payments flows across multiple applications using Python and Robot Framework.

Please note that Optiveum will be the recruitment and contracting party for this role, meaning you will sign a B2B cooperation agreement directly with us.

Your Responsibilities:

• Performing test analysis, test case design, and test implementation.

• Executing tests and conducting root cause analysis.

• Designing and implementing the Test Automation Framework.

• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of the delivered software.

Must-have Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.

• Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for test automation.

• Experience with API and UI test automation.

• Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.

• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments.

• Familiarity with version control systems (Git).

• Fluent English (both written and spoken).

• Great communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of the Kafka message streaming platform.

• Experience with Splunk for log analysis and monitoring.

• Experience with Jira and qTest.

• Background in building test automation frameworks from scratch.

• Experience with release management processes.
