Senior Solution Architect

Rate: Up to 170 PLN/h (net + VAT)

Work Model: Hybrid (75% remote)

Location: Gdańsk or Warsaw

We are Optiveum, a trusted IT recruitment and contracting partner. Currently, we are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join the team of our client—a prominent organization in the banking sector.

In this role, you will establish reusable data and API capabilities that accelerate delivery, improve interoperability, and create lasting value for customers and business partners.

Please note: Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party for this position. We will be signing the cooperation agreement directly with the chosen candidate.

What you'll be doing:

Lead architecture across domains

• Define and evolve the architecture vision, principles, and roadmap for Data Products and Domain APIs.

• Align business capabilities, data assets, APIs, and technology platforms across multiple delivery streams.

• Oversee end-to-end solution architecture and coordinate the work of embedded software architects.

• Identify interfaces, data flows, and cross-domain dependencies, guiding teams in evaluating solution alternatives.

Drive data product excellence

• Establish patterns and standards for domain-owned data products to ensure they are discoverable, trustworthy, and governed.

• Clarify data ownership, boundaries, quality expectations, metadata, and lifecycle responsibilities.

• Partner with stakeholders to maximize the value and safe use of data across the organization.

Shape the domain API landscape

• Define API-first architecture principles, design standards, governance, and integration patterns.

• Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, resilient, observable, and easy for consumers to use.

• Support event-driven and service-oriented integration approaches where they provide clear value.

Build resilient, delivery-ready solutions

• Define functional and non-functional requirements for availability, performance, security, and scalability.

• Build and maintain the architectural runway needed for sustainable delivery and future change.

• Enable Continuous Delivery and DevOps through pragmatic design guidelines and automation.

Collaborate and influence

• Work closely with Product and Solution Management, engineering teams, and Enterprise Architects.

• Communicate complex architecture decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Mentor architects and engineering teams, fostering collaboration and decentralized decision-making.

Requirements:

• Significant experience in Solution Architecture, Domain Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or a comparable senior role.
