Test Expert (SharePoint Applications)

About the Client and our Role

At Optiveum, we connect top IT professionals with exciting tech initiatives. In this case, we are the recruitment partner of an established IT Outsourcing organization. By taking part in this long-term project you will be contributing to a major institutional project focused on testing complex SharePoint-based applications.

The Role

We are looking for 3 Test Experts to ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of complex software systems.
In this role, you will take ownership of testing strategy, design test environments, and execute a full spectrum of application tests.
You will work closely with development and architecture teams to validate that the final product meets high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for the testing strategy and plan all test activities.

• Develop test plans, test cases, and design the testing environment.

• Implement, execute, and debug application test cases and scripts.

• Analyze functional and technical system design for testability.

• Interpret test results, track defects, and report on progress, status, and trends.

• Validate and document the completion of testing and development.

• Collaborate closely with analysts, architects, software developers, and service desk teams to ensure top-tier quality assurance.

Expectations

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of overall experience in IT, including at least 4 years hands-on experience as a Tester or Test Expert.

• SharePoint: Proven, hands-on experience testing SharePoint-based applications.

• Azure DevOps: Practical experience with Azure DevOps Test Plans.

• Testing Expertise: Expert knowledge of the full testing spectrum, including unit, integration, functional, performance, stress, acceptance, and regression testing.

• Databases: Hands-on experience creating SQL queries.

• Process & Tools: Experience setting up test management tools for new projects, providing test documentation, and a strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

• Language: Fluent English (B2 level), confirmed by a formal certificate (specific certificate requirements to be discussed during the process).

• Education: Higher education degree (Bachelor’s or Engineer level). An ICT-relevant degree is not mandatory.

Certifications Requirements

You must possess at least one of the following:

• ISTQB Advanced certification.

• An equivalent internationally recognized certification.

• OR: 3 additional years of test management experience (above the required 4 years minimum at a similar position).

What We Offer

• Salary: Up to 115 - 120 PLN net / hour.

• Contract Type: B2B agreement.

• Type of Work: 100% Fully Remote (must be based in Poland)
