Financial Analyst ( e-Commerce)

Our Client is a well-established global brand with over 100 years in the beverage industry, particularly known for its iconic sparkling beverages. They are currently seeking a detail-oriented and financially driven Financial Analyst to support their growing Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-Commerce team.

About the Role
This is a permament contract position with the potential for extension or a permanent offer based on performance and business needs. In this role, you will take charge of tracking business financials, analyzing P&L performance, monitoring costs and profitability, and managing the department budget.You will collaborate closely with the finance department to ensure accurate financial insights and adherence to budgetary guidelines, while working at the intersection of finance and e-commerce for a globally recognized brand.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Tracking: Monitor and analyze financial performance, including P&L statements, cost structures, and profitability metrics.
Budget Management: Manage the department budget by tracking orders to vendors against the agreed budget and highlighting variances.
Cost Analysis: Evaluate and report on cost trends, identifying areas for potential savings and optimization.
Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team to reconcile data, validate accuracy, and ensure consistent financial reporting.
Reporting: Create clear, concise financial reports for leadership to support data-driven decision-making.
Forecasting Support: Assist in financial forecasting and scenario analysis to support strategic planning.
What is Expected
Experience: Previous experience in financial analysis, ideally within e-commerce, retail, or FMCG sectors.
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills, with a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
Soft Skills: A detail-oriented, proactive, and communicative team player with strong analytical thinking.
Work Style: Comfortable working in a remote, international environment.
