SAP ABAP Developer

Join the IT Competence Centre of a Swiss organization in Warsaw; this job is (mostly) office based and requires contract of employment (umowa o pracę).

Our Client is a global design and manufacturing leader in the field of medical devices.

For their Warsaw based Competence Centre, we assist them in finding an additional person to take up the role of a SAP ABAP Developer.

Role

  • Develop application, interface & migration software using the appropriate tools and dev. Languages
  • Create and Extend program specifications for CRs, Projects, new Releases etc.
  • Coordinate developments with other (internal or external) developers
  • Technical definitions Interfaces (Mapping, Recordtypes) with consumer or sender
  • Define and develop user interfaces using available technologies according to UX guidelines
  • Develop and maintain printing solutions (forms, labels) using the appropriate technologies
  • Develop integration processes using existing and new frameworks and tools
  • Understand and setup of system communication and protocols
  • Maintain technical knowledge base
  • Support infrastructure setup and keep systems and applications up to date
  • Program design & modularization (Program, Functions, Classes)
  • Define and maintain quality standards and best practices for developmen

Key competences

  • Experience with relevant programming languages & techniques (eg. Abap, SQL, Java, OO, Eclipse etc.)
  • Familiar with Agile Project Implementation Methodologies
  • Experience with relevant IT Technologies and Protocols (eg. Adobe, EDI, ODBC, RFC, XML etc.)
  • Familiar with SAP Standard Functionalities (eg. ERP, Hana etc.) and Custom Development procedures
  • Willing to learn new technologies including new integrations platforms and solutions
  • Positive Approach and Customer Service Orientation
  • Able to accept and follow standard Client's SOPs
  • Diligently following high Quality Standards with own and team deliverables
  • Fluent in English
