Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced 

Web Development Team Lead 

to lead a team of developers in building and maintaining Shopify websites. 

As an ideal candidate, you should have hands-on experience with Shopify, a minimum of 6 years in web development, and at least 3 years in a leadership position. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development team, ensuring timely and within-budget project completion, providing technical guidance to team members, and designing secure web applications. Additionally, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders will be a crucial part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of backend and frontend developers in building and maintaining Shopify websites.
• Manage the development team, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Design secure web applications.
• Develop and nurture relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key competences

• A minimum of 6 years of web development experience, with at least 3 years in leading a team of at least 5 developers.
• Proficiency in working with Microsoft Azure services and platforms.
• Exceptional leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Cross-Cultural Communication Experience: Proven track record of effectively collaborating and communicating with team members, stakeholders, and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds. The team leader should possess strong interpersonal skills to foster productive relationships, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and appreciate diverse perspectives.
• Hands-on experience with, Shopify Liquid, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), backend development, and Shopify API.
• Proficiency in Git, GitHub, and Version Control: Demonstrated expertise in branching, merging, and conflict resolution, along with the ability to enforce optimal practices for code organization, documentation, and automatic deployment processes for Shopify.
• Strong proficiency in the Laravel framework

Salary range

• 6 000-8 000 EUR per mth
