Our client is a tech start-up imagined, designed and founded by professional poker players, operating as a fully remote organization with an office in the heart of Warsaw, Poland. They deliver educational SaaS solutions for poker professionals all around the world.

We are looking to hire a talented yet experienced Python Backend Developer to become a part of the team in this crucial time. The role will be essential to guarantee a stable & predictable product.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS A PYTHON DEVELOPER?

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working on enhancing and maintaining existing backend services
• Participating in product planning sessions

Skills and requirements for the job:

• 4+ years professional experience in Python
  • Solid knowledge of Django and Rest Framework is a must
  • Good understanding of relational databases, and available data store solutions
  • Taking responsibility of managing AWS services via Terraform
  • Previous experiences with GitOps (preferably on top of GitLab)
• High level of self-organization and problem-solving
• Being self-starter capable of quickly testing different ideas
• Ability to communicate proposed solutions in efficient manner

Nice-to-have:

• Basic understanding or interest in the game of Poker
• Experience with Azure cloud services
• Practical experience with Kubernetes
• Understanding of High-Performance Computing, GPU Computing, CUDA kernels
• Experience with refactoring large/legacy codebases
