Key responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be software design and development, as well as communication with clients with the aim of understanding their business requirements, and close collaboration with your own and other HTEC teams.

• Designing, implementing, and testing an API-driven Scala back-end as well as documenting it for both internal and external use
• Proactive troubleshooting test and production environments and taking part in deploying new code to production
• Owning the product domain – knowing how everything works and interacts

Key competences

• Object-oriented programming skills – Scala is preferred, familiarity with the Play framework is appreciated
• Experience in the development of RESTful web services
• Openness to learning new skills and technologies
• Git
• Very good English level

Nice to have

• Familiarity or experience with Kubernetes, Cassandra, Kafka, AWS S3, and Elasticsearch/Solr/Lucene or related technologies is a plus
