Dev Ops Engineer

4 500 - 6 000 EURO/month - B2B

 100% remote

The person employed in this position will work in a team of engineers responsible for the automation of installation, configuration and testing of products manufactured in the Company, providing support services for products delivered to the customer, as well as maintenance and development of the Company's server infrastructure.

Job description:
Automation of the installation, configuration and testing of delivered products using Ansible
Ongoing maintenance of Linux systems, virtualization systems and other services running on them
Ongoing maintenance and development of internal design test and development environments
Analysis and solving of problems appearing in the maintained infrastructure
Automation of the application development and testing process
Support for development teams in implementations
Cooperation with the Support team on complex customer problems
On-call duty as a second / third support line
Cooperation on interesting projects related to the development of infrastructure

We expect:
• Communicative knowledge of the English language
• Independence and analytical approach to problem solving
• Proactive approach to work, striving for continuous improvement of implemented solutions and
• broadening the knowledge needed for work
• Good knowledge of automation tools: Jenkins, Ansible, Gitlab (or similar devops solutions)
• Good knowledge of Linux systems, with particular emphasis on RHEL / CentOS
• Ability to write bash scripts (bash, python)
• Experience in automating repetitive administrative tasks
• Experience in creating and maintaining HA services

An additional advantage will be:
• Experience in remote work
• Experience in using the Git versioning system
• Experience in managing and developing virtualization and containerization environments
• Experience in using HashiCorp tools (Terraform, Vagrant, Packer, Vault)
• Knowledge of database issues from the administrative side (Oracle, Postgresql, MariaDB)
• Knowledge of solutions (TIBCO installation / configuration)
